micelab:bodensee

Established by BodenseeMeeting, micelab:bodensee researches, teaches and shares knowledge about what makes events work and how clients can be supported in delivering them.

Through micelab:bodensee, the members of BodenseeMeeting aim to help people enjoy taking part in congresses, conferences and seminars, learn with enthusiasm and benefit personally and professionally. This distinctive project in the four-country Lake Constance region explores how to achieve that with specialists from different disciplines, examining people, attitudes, values, learning methods and a lively culture of encounter. Research findings and experience are shared and deepened with the MICE sector (meetings, incentives, congresses, events) and with staff at member businesses.

Urs Treuthardt co-founded this learning format, unique in the sector, and chaired the association from 2020 to 2023.
